Steven Michel en Théo Mercier received a Silver Lion at the Venice Biennale – a prize for young, promising artists working in the field of dance. They got the prize at the occasion of their recent collaboration – Affordable Solution For Better Living – produced by Nanterre-Amandiers (distribution Art Happens).
The Lover by Bára Sigfúsdóttir has won in two categories at the Gríman (Icelandic Performing Arts Awards): ‘dancer of the year’ and ‘choreographer of the year’. The complete list of laureates can be found here.

April 30 the Italian premiere of DEPOSITION by Michele Rizzo takes place in Milan. DEPOSITION is the last installment in a trilogy, preceded by Higher and Spacewalk. Place to be is FOG Triennale Milano Performing Arts, coproducer of the performance.

After a relaxing holiday, Bára Sigfúsdóttir and dramaturge Sara Vanderieck left for Tehran on 26 of August to continue the creation of Bára’s new performance being.
