After having had Bára Sigfúsdóttir and Michele Rizzo with us for many years, both are now setting sail for new horizons.
Bára Sigfúsdóttir was with GRIP from the early beginning on, having produced numerous beautiful productions – the most recent one being FLÖKT – a flickering flow (2020). She’s leaving the nest to shape the rest of her artistic projects out of her new home base Oslo – whilst keeping a strong connection to the Belgian partners and audiences – as well as to the rest of Europe. To stay updated on new work and tour dates, keep an eye on >her website<, >Facebook page< and/or >Instagram account<.
Michele Rizzo was with at GRIP for a couple of years (for the GRIP-coproduced Deposition as well as for the co-distribution of Spacewalk and Higher, produced by Dansco) he will continue work under the umbrella of Dansco. Michele’s work and research has always been operating at the crossover between performance and visual art. Case in point his latest work, Rest (2020), an installation work/performance, made for the Rome Quadriennale and revived – at the Quadriennale – on July 9 & 10, 2021.
