Carte Blanche is the Norwegian National Company of Contemporary Dance. Based in Bergen, the ensemble tours worldwide. 
Jan Martens takes the DNA of this wonderful ensemble of dancers and creates CANCEL BERTHA with Carte Blanche.

In CANCEL BERTHA, music is not what you hear, but what you see and feel. True to Martens‘ fascination with rhythm, geometry, structure and music scores, the dancers’ movements become their own soundscape.
The performance becomes a playful blend of energy, curated chaos, silence and sound. Ecstatic group scenes flow seamlessly into the most intimate sequences.
