Jan Martens for Dansateliers & Conny Jansssen Danst for BRAND NEW #3
2012In PRETTY PERFECT, Jan Martens highlights the jump for the first time, this in an attempt to reveal the person behind the dancer on stage. He choreographed this short work for six dancers of the Rotterdam-based dance company Conny Janssen Danst in the context of the Brand New programme, a collaborative project involving the production company Dansateliers and Conny Janssen Danst. PRETTY PERFECT is a preliminary study to the evening-long show THE DOG DAYS ARE OVER (2014).
