THE SCORE is a dance performance in which disorientation and a rigid structure go hand in hand. Jan Martens created this show for and with third-year students in the bachelor’s degree in dance at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp as part of their graduation project. For this piece he worked with ten students on existing music by NAH, the American sound artist with whom he also collaborates on RULE OF THREE (2017).
